The Friends of Mottram Church was formed as a means for all people who have affection for our beautiful mediaval building, to support and contribute towards its upkeep.

The Church building is available for all and used in many ways by members of the local community, for worship, baptisms, weddings, funerals and other community events. It is a Grade II* listed building, and is part of our historical heritage here in Mottram having stood on the hill in some form for over 500 years.

Our AGM and potato pie supper this year will be held on Thursday 7th March 7.30pm at Mottram Cricket Club. This was a very successful and enjoyable evening last year, so we have decided to repeat the format. Do join us, everyone very welcome.


Annual Concert
Saturday 24th March in church

Following our successful concerts by the Mathias String Quartet and One Voice Community Choir,

The Laurence Singers

will entertain us at our Spring Concert on the 11th May. This mixed choir is based in South Manchester, and performs a broad repertoire ranging from choral pieces and opera classics to folk songs and songs from the shows.
