A church is community of Christians fully integrated with and serving their local neighbourhood. Church members are involved in all manner of roles, groups and activities in our parish in Hattersley, Broadbottom and Mottram.  For example we have strong links with our three local schools including fortnightly “Open the Book” assemblies. The church buildings themselves are also key centres of the community where a number of local groups meet, notably in the Magdalene Centre in Broadbottom.

We support a range of charities, and you can see details of them here.

Community Groups

In this section of our website you can find out about the groups which use our church buildings and how to book your own event in the Magdalene Centre. Leaders and members of Mottram Parish Church also work with our friends from other Christian churches in the parish and beyond, to support and pray for each other and together be a witness for Jesus in our community.  You can also see how we reach out to the local community through our Pastoral Ministry, and see how we're providing fun, food and friendship for older people through our Holiday@Home.
