Children in our church

Due to the coronavirus restrictions, all our face-to-face children's activities are postponed. However, starting Sunday 8th November, our Sunday School is re-starting on-line.

Generally children either stay for the whole of our All Together Worship service on the first Sunday of the month, or are specially catered for with engaging and fun activities at “Sunday School” during part of the service. However children can happily be with their family in church throughout any of our services.

Crèche On Sunday mornings during the main 10.30am worship service, we have a crèche for very young children in the Choir Vestry. Parents can stay with their children as they play, while listening to the service on loudspeaker.

Sunday School is for children aged 4 to 11 and meets each Sunday morning during part of the main 10.30am worship service.

Sunday School re-starts on Sunday 9th September at 10.30 in church.

If you are between 4years and 11 years we’d love to see you there for Bible stories, games and crafts.

We meet in church first and start our worship together as a whole church family. Then the children go across to the adjacent Mottram School, where we enjoy Bible stories, games, drama, crafts and songs. Our numbers are growing but there’s always room for more!  Children of families visiting the church are also made very welcome.  Note that on the first Sunday of the month the children remain in church for our informal All Together Worship service.
